Canal+ launching A+ channel throughout Africa

Canal+’s new sub-Saharan African channel, A+, will launch in 20 countries in western and central Africa on October 24th as part of the Canalsat bouquet.
A+ will offer programming aimed at a mass market audience, including series in French, English, Portuguese and the Wolof language. All shows will be produced or dubbed in French.
“We are delighted to launch this new channel, A+, that testifies to our ambition in Africa, which, like the African continent, is immense and varied,” commented David Mignot, CEO of Canal+ Africa.
