April 24, 2014
Julian Bellamy is set to become the new managing director of ITV Studios UK.
The Discovery Networks International veteran succeeds Denise O’Donoghue who revealed she was stepping down from the role earlier this month.
Bellamy, who will start his ITV role “later this year,” served as head of production & development at Discovery Networks. He worked for the company for three years after serving as head of Britain’s Channel 4 between 2007 and 2010. He is also a former controller of BBC Three.
“Julian is an exceptional talent who combines outstanding creativity with excellent strategic leadership,” said ITV Studios managing director Kevin Lygo.
