FashionTV responds over debt claim

Last week we quoted the CEO of satellite services company RRsat describing how it had made certain allegations against FashionTV regarding non-payment of debts.
FashionTV’s founder and CEO Michael Adam has now responded, stating that FashionTV is to mount its own lawsuit against RRsat and others for $20+ million. FashionTV is alleging “unfair competition and infringement of fashiontv trademarks as well as punitive damages.”
Adam said FashionTV recently sourced another service provider; “all our business has been switched to SatLink Communications, Austria Communication, and directly with Asiasat, Eutelsat and SES Astra.”
