Liberty Global: ‘Good progress on Ziggo bid’

Following the January 27th €10 billion bid by Liberty Global for Dutch cable MSO Ziggo, the pair have issued a joint status update in accordance with Dutch regulatory requirements.
The pair confirm they are making good progress on the preparations for the Offer.
Liberty Global expects to submit a request for review and approval of the Offer Memorandum to the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (Stichting Autoriteit Financiële Markten, ‘AFM’) shortly but in any event by April 21st 2014, which is the date by which under Dutch law a request for approval must be submitted to the AFM.
