Naked News goes HD
November 27, 2013
By Chris Forrester
Naked News markets itself as the newscast with “nothing to hide”. Now, viewers can see the – mostly – female news presenters in the extra clarity of HD.
Naked News is in its 640th week of presenting the news for web-viewing. It produces its nightly telecasts from Toronto, Canada and the presenters have been undressing while reading the news since June 2000. It also produces a Japanese version.
The broadcaster’s Toronto base allows the company to utilise the Canadian city’s ‘top free’ equality laws.
