November 26, 2013
Accedo, a specialist in TV application solutions, has announced the official launch of the Accedo XDK, its cross platform development kit for Smart TV devices and game consoles.
Accedo’s XDK provides a professional approach to the industry fragmentation by offering a framework which enables an enhanced development process by using reusable modular components and a flexible device abstraction layer.
The Accedo XDK is the secret sauce behind hundreds of cross-platform application deployments for Accedo’s blue chip customer base and has played an instrumental role in the company’s global success story.
“Our clients across the globe all need to overcome the platform fragmentation and the Accedo XDK has proven to be a popular solution not only to lower cross platform development costs, but also to improve software maintenance and application lifecycle management,” commented Michael Lantz, CEO, Accedo.
The Accedo XDK is a licensable product that is available to all Accedo clients. Furthermore, XDK will also be offered as a bundled component for all customers using Accedo AppGrid, the multi-platform application management product.
