DirecTV Everywhere programming expansion

From November 21st, DirecTV Everywhere is expanding its service to offer more than 30 live TV out-of-home (OOH) streaming channels in the US, including popular channels like HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, The Movie Channel, STARZ , ENCORE, Tennis Channel and Scripps Networks. In addition, the company will now deliver a lineup of 100 live TV in-home streaming channels.
To support the DirecTV Everywhere programming expansion, the company is also relaunching its Android tablet app to support both live and on demand programming across all screen sizes and various operating systems. This extends the DirecTV Everywhere offering across all major devices and screen sizes.
DirecTV is also expanding its on demand content line-up on DirecTV.com. Now DirecTV customers can enjoy more than 19,000 high-quality streaming titles, at no additional cost on their computers.
“We’ve significantly expanded DirecTV Everywhere to meet the needs of our customers who want a seamless and consistent way to access programming they want, across as many platforms as possible, without any restrictions,” said Tony Goncalves, senior vice president, Digital Entertainment Products, DirecTV.
