Kolkata blackouts spread

Local reports suggest that there’s “frenetic” local activity as Indian cable MSOs start obeying regulator TRAI rulings to switch off analogue transmissions.
The black-outs are being blamed on consumers who have not filled out their ‘CAF’ forms (which detail the digital channels hay want as part of their new bouquets). Some consumers, however, are saying this is not the case, that they have completed their CAF paperwork but that the cable operator hasn’t processed the documents.
Either way, many subscribers are confused at the lack of progress, and the absence of their TV signals.
