Conax reports “strong” Q2
July 25, 2013
Conax, a global provider of solutions for securing multi-device and digital video content distribution and part of the Telenor Group, has published its Q2 results. Conax saw revenue growth of 14 per cent from the same quarter last year, driven by increased smartcard sales. Overall margin decreased due to lower prices in emerging markets, resulting in flat EBITDA growth.
“To support the growth and expansion of operators in their respective markets we have expanded and strengthened our product and services portfolio materially over the last year, as well as our organisation, to provide guidance to and support the future development of our customers. I am highly pleased that our efforts are resulting in strong financial results,” commented Morten Solbakken, President & CEO, Conax.
