France Télévisions selects Visiware for the interactivity and gamification of the Tour de France
July 9, 2013
For the 100th Tour de France, as part of its multi-screen digital production, France Télévisions has joined forces with Visiware in order to offer, on second screens (computers and tablets), a unique synchronized and interactive Timeline experience.
Viewers of the Tour de France can thus discover France and the Tour’s events on 2nd screen synchronously with the TV broadcast. Exclusive photos and videos, information on the cyclists, expert analysis, and a selection of the most relevant tweets. The 2nd screen, which can be accessed on the FranceTV Sport site , also allows fans of the Tour to take part in the competition through real-time polls, and gives them a chance to win prizes (racing bike, iPad mini) by participating in quizzes and prediction games produced live by the France Télévisions teams.
