EchoStar Q3 stumbles

EchoStar Corp, the satellite operating arm and sister company of Dish Network, saw revenues fall in the quarter-year to September 30th.
Total revenue for Q3 was $764.72 million, compared to $863.16 million for the same quarter last year. Net income was $184.82 million compared to $16.53 million.
Total revenue for the nine months ended September 30th, 2012 was $2.33 billion, well ahead on the $1.93 billion achieved for the nine months ended September 30th, 2011.
EchoStar has also hired back its former CFO, David Rayner. Current CFO Kenneth Carroll is moved to EVP/Corporate & Business Development. Rayner left EchoStar a year ago in November 2011 to join a start-up.
