BLANKOM and HilKOM undergoing technological and structural changes
October 19, 2012
The BLANKOM group (BLANKOM and HilKOM) is responding to the shifting market conditions by making extensive changes to its structure. With Smart TV, Sat-IP and increase in home networking, the demands on service quality and customer focus are becoming more and more important.
The traditional headend technology, which is still an important part of the product portfolio, is being increasingly replaced by IP-based solutions.
In response to the new challenges and to access new clientele, extensive restructuring is being carried out. This allows strengths to be pooled and ensures even better customer care. With this in mind, the development activities at the BLANKOM Development Center in Bad Blankenburg were harmonised and the production facilities of the two companies were merged.
HilKOM Digital GmbH in Bad Salzdetfurth will focus more intensively on sales, project management and service. In order to better address specific customer needs abroad as well as in domestic markets, the entire range of products of both companies is made available to the BLANKOM sales team.
With these measures, the two companies will help in shaping the future of multi media as stable and reliable market partners having innovative products and customer-oriented service.
