UPC Cablecom the Swiss MSO is going free to air with its basic package of 55 channels so they can be received without STB or CI + CAM. The package had cost €3.30 a month.
Now UPC will be able to convert all 1.8 million connected households to digital in one step. About 80 per cent of Switzerland’s 3.2 million households have so far been converted.
