MStar Semiconductor has joined the Multimedia over Coax Alliance as an Associate member. MStar is a global IC provider for high volume consumer electronics markets, including TV and STB.

“As a major player in STB controller SoCs, advanced security ICs and other chipsets for the digital TV sector, we see an increasing requirement for MoCA technology to be built into devices to enable a truly connected home,” said Philippe Notton, Vice President of STBs at MStar.
