FiOS rockets Verizon up 13%

FiOS, the multichannel broadband service from Verizon is doing some blistering business. Increases at both its TV and broadband division helped drive operating revenues up 3.7 per cent and net up up 13 per cent, compared with the same period last year.
Verizon’s video subscriber numbers increased a net 120,000 and broadband customers increased a net 134,000 with ARPU growth up 8.5 per cent.
