With the annual March Madness college basketball tournament set to get under way, US broadcasters CBS and Turner behind are making it easier than ever for viewers to tune in to games on the web.
The pair will next week start broadcasting a string of games culminating in the NCAA men’s basketball championship final on April 2nd. All 67 games will be available live on TV networks including CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV, online through those networks’ websites and on an app for smartphones and tablets.
The March Madness effort marks the second year of collaboration between CBS and Turner, owned by Time Warner, which usually compete with each other for ratings on TV.
