Canis handling sale of Current TV’s EPG slot

Canis Media has been hired to sell the EPG slot occupied by Current TV. BSkyB recently terminated Current TV’s contract to broadcast to the UK.
Current UK’s Managing Director, Jane Mote, said, “We have been conducting rapid and intense rescue discussions with a couple of strong partners, but we have to face up to the fact that we may not succeed. We, therefore, drafted in the services of Canis to help us maximise the value of one of our key assets – our valuable EPG slot which is about to move from 183 to 181.”
Canis says it expects strong interest in the slot, which comes at a time when BSkyB is already reshuffling some of its EPG slots.
