UKTV secures Freeview slot for Really
June 14, 2011
UKTV is strengthening its commitment to its lifestyle genre by launching Really onto Freeview.
Moving to Freeview channel 20 on August 2nd, Really will still be available on Sky and Virgin Media. Replacing Dave Ja Vu, Really will sit immediately below its UKTV-stablemate, Dave on Freeview’s EPG. This move will mean that three of the broadcaster’s offerings are available free to air, one from each of its three key programming genres: factual (Yesterday), entertainment (Dave) and lifestyle (Really).
Originally launched by UKTV as part of its ambitious network rebrand in May 2009 with the strapline “You couldn’t make it up!” Really offers an insight into people’s lives, Targeting predominately young women.
