Teleste upgrade agreement with Kabel Deutschland

German cable operator Kabel Deutschland has signed a frame agreement with Teleste for a HFC-BK network upgrade project. The project is planned to last for three years and it is provided by Teleste as a turn-key project. Teleste will upgrade approximately 5,000 BK-stations in various Kabel Deutschland cable network regions from 450 MHz to 630/862 MHz.
The upgrade enables Kabel Deutschland to offer its triple play services to additional subscribers in numerous areas in Germany. In terms of net sales, the estimate value of this upgrade project equals to approximately €5 million, of which minimum committed order value is €3.7 million. The deliveries will start in Q3/2011.
