Universal and Multimedia Polska launch PictureBox
April 27, 2011
Universal Pictures and Multimedia Polska have launched NBCUniversal’s movies-on-demand subscription service PictureBox in Poland. The Multimedia Polska launch marks the second launch for the service in Poland. PictureBox is also available on multiple platforms in the UK, as well as Ireland and Singapore, with further global expansion planned.
Subscribers to the new PictureBox service on Multimedia Polska will be able to view current and library films from NBCUniversal and other content suppliers. At any given time, 16 feature films will be available for on-demand viewing, many of which have not yet made their free-to-air premiere in Poland. Four new movies are refreshed on a weekly basis.
PictureBox is also available in Poland on the “n” platform.
