Cable Labs speed test
January 26, 2011
Cable Europe Labs has introduced new product certification for equipment instrumental in helping to keep cable at the head of the network speed race. The products that have successfully passed the Cable Europe Labs certification process are the following EuroDOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modems:
AVM FRITZ Box 6320
Cisco EPC3008
“Pushing the speed envelope requires ensuring that the market is continually fed with new kit,” says EuroCable Certification Managing Director, Malcolm Taylor. “The testing programme is designed to truly put the new equipment through the paces so that it can arrive to the end user with the reassurance that performance has already been looked at very carefully in a lab environment. You could call it ‘from our lab to your home’ in fact.”
