Intelsat selects SatLink solution

SatLink Communications, a teleport providing global satellite services, has announced that Intelsat, the world’s leading provider of fixed satellite services, has entered into a long term agreement with SatLink for VNO (Virtual Network Operator) services. SatLink’s end-to-end, turnkey solution, based on the iDirect Evolution Hub, enables Intelsat to provide its clients with managed Hub services including Uplink and IP to the Middle East on IS15 at 85.2°E.
By leveraging Satlink’s advanced teleport services and strategic location, Intelsat is able to expand its network services and geographic reach. Satlink’s iDirect hub enables Intelsat full control and independence via remote management and its scalability enables network expansion onto multiple satellites.
