NeuLion chosen as MLS digital video partner

IPTV service provider NeuLion and Major League Soccer (MLS), the top-flight professional soccer league in the USs, have announced a new partnership for a dedicated online video service built and managed by NeuLion. A new MLS integrated digital experience, MatchDay Live, is now available via the MLS homepage to deliver HD quality video and other content to soccer fans worldwide.
Built by NeuLion and powered by Microsoft Silverlight, the rebuilt 2010 digital service has advanced features including DVR-like functionality and HD-quality video, enabling users to watch and engage with the game through a number of interactive real time services. NeuLion provides MLS with an end-to-end service and will deliver up to 300 MLS, SuperLiga and InterLiga games as well as other Soccer United Marketing events during the season, including condensed archive games and real time highlights all delivered in HD to a viewer’s browser.
