ruwido of Austria has been selected as a technology partner to supply remote controls for UK cable operator Virgin Media's new HD STB the V HD Box. The deal extends the 10 year relationship between Virgin Media and the Austrian remote control specialist.

Julia Smith, head of TV product, Virgin Media said: “Our new V HD Box is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the best of HD TV and the new remote will help viewers navigate and discover a whole world of content.”
