Mobile call to record TV programmes
February 19, 2009
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Spain’s Regional TV channel TV3 is launching a service that allows viewers to record its programmes from anywhere through a mobile phone call. Developed by CCRTV Interactiva and Orange, the service is available to all viewers through the portal Orange Cat. To use the service, users must download an application on their computers and link it to their mobile phones through an SMS message. The viewer will be able to schedule all the recordings and the recording process will start through a request sent by the mobile phone.
