castLabs mobile TV platform for 3 Italia

castLabs, a mobile broadcasting technologies and services company has confirmed the rollout of its mobile TV service delivery platform to 3 Italia for DVB-H in Italy. castLabs has been selected by 3 Italia, the Hutchison Whampoa company that has been the first DVB-H broadcast service provider launching a commercial service in June 2006, to deliver its integrated OMA BCAST DRM profile solution to take up operations in Italy. In addition, the system also supports the OMA BCAST smartcard profile solution.
