French telco Viaccess and UDcast, provider of wireless IP broadcast solutions, have confirmed a partnership to provide an end-to-end mobile TV security solution, based on the OMA BCAST SmartCard Profile standard. The joint offering ensures full interoperability between the Viaccess purple-TV conditional access system with UDcast's Mobile TV head-end solution to provide a secure environment for Mobile broadcast and on-demand video.
