Kabel BW sales up 18%

Kabel BW the German cable operator says its broadband internet subscriber base grew by 59% to 382,000 last year, so 17% of the Baden-Württemburg operator's 2.3m cable TV subscriber base now take triple play services, which it says is the highest among all German cable operators.
Kabel BW plans to a high-speed DOCSIS 3.0 50Mbps network this year, and also plans to launch new services including video-on-demand and time-shifted TV. The company's revenue for the year grew by 18% to E438m, while EBITDA grew by about 30% to E190m.
