October 28, 2008
Appear TV, a global provider of next-generation head-ends for broadcast and IP television, and DEPS, an Appear TV regional partner specializing in telecommunications infrastructure and broadcast television systems, announce the selection of Appear TV's SC2000 system as the new TeNeT IPTV head-end.
The largest internet service provider in Odessa, TeNeT owns and operates a fibre optic network connecting Odessa to other cities in the region, and delivers broadband services to more than 20,000 subscribers via Metro Ethernet, xDSL and an extensive Wi-Fi network. TeNeT has been operating initial IPTV services in Odessa and, as the next step towards launching a commercial service, has chosen to upgrade the company's IPTV head-end to an Appear TV SC2000.
