SES Q3 on target
October 27, 2008
The satellite operator said EBITDA for the nine month period was little changed with net profit at E338.8m against E347m last time. Chief Executive Romain Bausch was upbeat about SES’s prospects despite the gloomy economic outlook. “We are in a business which is described as an infrastrucure business with no exposure to consumers,” he told a conference call. He added he did not expect major changes in the projects of its customers, although the speed of rollout might be impacted.
The utilisation rate across the fleet increased to 77.6%.
