RTL, Al Jazeera potential Mediaset pay-TV buyers

RTL group and Al Jazeera could be interested in the Italian pay-television channels owned by Mediaset, according to newspaper Il Sole 24. Mediaset’s vice chairman, Piersilvio Berlusconi, said earlier this week that foreign investors potentially interested in buying the pay-TV channel have approached the company, but that there were no active negotiations.
