Global pay-TV subs up 1.7% in Q1

The worldwide number of pay-TV subscribers reported by the informitv Multiscreen Index rose by 6.90 million or 1.68 per cent in the first quarter of 2016. 60 of the 100 leading pay-TV services in the latest Multiscreen Index report showed net subscriber gains in the quarter.
