Poland’s TVN adds new channels
March 31, 2015
From April 16th TVN, a privately owned TV broadcaster in Poland, will add two new channels: TVN Meteo Active for viewers interested in an active, healthy lifestyle and TVN Fabuła featuring an extensive offer of movies and TV series.
The head of TVN Meteo Active will be Grzegorz Płaza, formerly responsible for TVN Turbo, TVN’s channel for male audience, and sports editorial office at TVN24, TVN’s first news channel. He commented: ‘TVN Meteo Active is a channel committed to meeting today’s needs […] The source of reliable factual information on proper physical activity and health. The channel that the Polish television market has lacked so far.’
Maciej Świerzawski, Head of TVN Fabuła, commented: “The new film channel expands viewers’ access to extensive TVN’s portfolio. Our offer will be complementary to TVN and TVN7 both in terms of titles’ selection and the arrangement of respective slots across the schedule. On top of that, daily shows prepared especially for TVN Fabuła will update our viewers on the latest movie releases, film events as well as interviews with the greatest film and TV stars.”
