Pulse appoints former NBCU President
March 13, 2015
Former NBC Universal and Warner Music executive Patrick Vien has joined Pulse Films as president.
Vien’s appointment forms part of Pulse’s plans to push into scripted and non-scripted TV in the UK and US, along with the launch of a slate of online channels. The company has previously produced shows including ITV1 documentary series The Cruise Ship and Channel 4 documentary When Bjork Met Attenborough.
Vien commented that Pulse “excelled” across TV, branded entertainment, channels, films and music.
“The global disruption in the media market has created an unprecedented golden age for premium content and IP ownership,” he added.
