Bolivia: Entel ups channel offer

Bolivia’s embryonic Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Entel) DTH pay-TV service is increasing the number of channels on offer, and repackaging the bundles available.
Barely six months ago in June it offered 102 channels. A December relaunch has seen that number jump to 132 channels.
A new pricing structure sees the basic bundle offer 84 channels for US$12 per month, and rises to a complete full bouquet including 12 channels in HDTV for $26.50 a month. An intermediate tier with 114 channels costs $22.40 a month.
Entel’s DTH package is in its early days and to date local reports suggest it has just 5000 subscribers.
