Swanston VP Commissioning at BBC WW

Julie Swanston has been appointed the VP of commissioning for BBC Worldwide’s channels business, where she will be seeking out originals and co-productions for BBC Brit and BBC Earth.
Formerly an executive producer, Swanston will focus on commissioning original content for BBC Brit and BBC Earth, two of the three new global BBC genre brands set for launch this year and next. She will also maintain close ties with BBC America, other BBC Worldwide international channels and programming execs in the UK.
