NetCologne chooses Cedar Point

Cedar Point Communications, a specialist in integrated Voice over IP (VoIP) switching technologies for service providers, has joined forces with regional telecommunications operator NetCologne, to offer enhanced XDSL services to subscribers using their DSL and FTTB infrastructure. They will be using SIP, a key enabling technology for next-generation IMS networks, to provide VoIP to residential subscribers. NetCologne has deployed Cedar Point’s Safari C3 Multimedia Switching System for SIP-based voice services to subscribers throughout the region of Cologne, Bonn, and Aachen.
