Dailymotion brings CNN to Europe
October 12, 2007
Dailymotion, the independent video sharing site, and Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) Europe have confirmed an agreement to make news, entertainment and animation programming available to audiences across Europe. The agreement marks Turner's choice of Dailymotion as partner in the wider distribution of its content across non-linear platforms and the continued distribution of Adult Swim outside the US.
The deal covers content from Turner's global news network, CNN International, which will feature on the new Dailymotion News Channel with hourly refreshes, and Adult Swim, the animation brand which will form a key part of Dailymotion's Funny Channel. In addition, Dailymotion will also feature clips from Nuts TV, the recently launched men's entertainment channel, produced in association with IPC Media.
