Criminal investigation into rocket failure

Russia has opened a criminal investigation into the July 1st catastrophic failure of a Proton-M rocket carrying three GPS satellites.
Quoting an investigation committee official, Russia’s TASS news agency stated that the Baikonur prosecutor’s office will be checking whether there was full compliance with the legislation in place to cover the rocket launch.
There are already formal investigations into the incident by Roscosmos, the Russian space agency, as well as independent investigations by International Launch Services.
