Netgem joins Wireless Broadband Alliance

Netgem, a specilaist in connected home solutions has joined the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA). Founded in 2003, one of the aims of the WBA is to enable seamless data Offload for operators. The WBA and its industry leading members are dedicated to delivering high quality user experiences through technology innovation, interoperability and robust security.
David Remaud, Mobile Business Group Director at Netgem, commented: “Given our previous experience in mobile router and Wi-Fi Offload with the Wobe product, we consider it is the right time to become more involved in the Wi-Fi ecosystem. Netgem’s vision is to bring new connected services to any Wi-Fi device and help operators optimize their infrastructure to take advantage of Wi-Fi networks.”
