Verimatrix revenue security for Tvzavr
August 31, 2012
Verimatrix has announced that Russia’s TVzavr is securing its OTT VoD service with the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for Internet TV. Moscow-based TVzavr is an online aggregator of professional video content that welcomes more than two million visitors per month, with a 60 per cent return rate.
Alexander Belenov, general director of online cinema at Tvzavr, commented. “VCAS for Internet TV allows us to broadcast content in protected mode to a wide range of devices enabling our customers to create their own world of entertainment. Providing extra layers of protection into the standard HLS protocol is a critical differentiator to power our on-demand services.”
