GlobalSat selects ANT Galio for HbbTV

ANT, an established provider of software and services for the delivery of digital TV, has announced that GlobalSat, a manufacturer of satellite and terrestrial products has licensed its ANT Galio HbbTV Platform. GlobalSat has identified the fast growing HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) market as a target for its next generation of connected STBs.
GlobalSat currently deploys a wide range of digital STBs to satellite, terrestrial, cable and IPTV markets. Its devices are deployed across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North Africa and Australia.
