UPC DTH expands HD line-up with Telenor

Telenor Satellite Broadcasting (TSBc) has announced the signing of a contract with satellite television provider UPC DTH which will enable the expansion of its HD line-up at 1° West serving UPC Direct in Hungary, freeSAT in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and focussat in Romania. UPC DTH will add Eurosport HD and Eurosport 2 HD to its HD channel packages ahead of the upcoming Euro 2012 football championship.
UPC DTH will broadcast the two new HD channels in its four Central and Eastern European markets of Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. Both channels, which will be localised for each individual country, will be available in early June.
