UK debuts TV ad for dogs
February 13, 2012
By Nik Roseveare
The first ever commercial aimed at dogs has been created for UK television. The advert features high-frequency noises (above 17’000Hz) that can only be heard by canine ears.
The advert, which is a spoof on the classic film “The Italian Job”, is interwoven with sounds including barking, whistling and doorbell-ringing to entice the attention of dogs.
The one-minute commercial, by dog-food firm Bakers, will debut on ITV this week.
