November 19, 2025

Samsung Electronics has announced a significant expansion to the Samsung Art Store with the addition of exclusive collections from two influential 20th-century artists: Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, who were close friends and contemporaries in New York’s vibrant 1980s art scene.

In conjunction with Artestar, the agency representing the Keith Haring Studio and Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Samsung Art Store subscribers can discover 12 new exclusive works from Keith Haring and 12 new exclusive artworks from Jean-Michel Basquiat, expanding the existing collections from each artist. Samsung is bringing these iconic works to homes globally, available exclusively on The Frame Pro, The Frame, Micro RGB TV, Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K and QLED TVs.

“Samsung remains deeply committed to fostering meaningful partnerships with artists and artists’ estates, ensuring that each project honors the authentic vision and legacy of the creator while allowing their work to reach and inspire a broader global audience through Samsung’s scale,” said Yong Su Kim, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat created visual languages that are recognisable around the world, and we’re delighted to bring these powerful artworks to our digital platform for global audiences to enjoy at home.”

“Working with Samsung Art Store is a great opportunity to share the iconic works of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat with a large global audience,” said David Stark, Founder and CEO of Artestar, the international brand licensing and consulting agency representing the Keith Haring Studio and the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat. “Through Samsung’s innovative Art Store platform, the work of these two groundbreaking artists can reach fans and newcomers alike in an incredibly accessible and direct way.”

Keith Haring Collection

Samsung will bring twelve new exclusive works from Keith Haring to the Samsung Art Store. Haring’s bold lines, radiant babies, barking dogs, and dancing figures became the visual vocabulary of 1980s New York, appearing first in subway stations where he created thousands of chalk drawings on empty advertising panels. This new collection spans the breadth of Haring’s career and includes some of his most iconic imagery, such as includes iconic subjects like his barking dog, running heart, three eyed monster, and his famed subway chalk drawings, allowing audiences worldwide to experience the energy and social consciousness that made his work revolutionary.

The new artworks join the 12 popular pieces from Haring previously available in the Samsung Art Store.

Jean-Michel Basquiat Collection

Samsung will also add twelve exclusive artworks from Jean-Michel Basquiat to the Samsung Art Store. This is the second time the artist’s work has been officially released for digital display and is exclusively available on the Samsung Art Store. Basquiat began by spray-painting cryptic poetry and social commentary across Lower Manhattan before becoming one of the most celebrated painters of his generation. His work fused street art, neo-expressionism, and cultural critique, incorporating text, symbols, and imagery that challenged power structures and celebrated Black culture and history.

Among the new artworks available to Art Store subscribers are Mitchel Crew, Captain America, 1983; Palm Spring Jump, 1982; Philistines, 1982; King of the Zulus, 1984-85. These new additions will join the twelve iconic pieces by Basquiat that are already available in the Samsung Art Store.

Choose Your Art: Something for Everyone

These exclusive collections join a growing roster of contemporary art from leading museums and institutions, including The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met), Art Basel, Tate Modern, Vogue, CULTURED Magazine and more, showcasing Samsung Art Store’s commitment to making art from the world’s leading artists, museums and galleries more accessible than ever.

The Samsung Art Store offers subscribers access to over 4,000 artworks from more than 800 artists, brought to life in spectacular 4K detail on Samsung Art TVs. That includes The Frame Pro, our most advanced art TV yet. Its upgraded Neo QLED 4K display offers brighter colors and sharper contrasts across every work – whether it’s Haring, Basquiat or any of the other amazing artists on offer. And the new Wireless One Connect Box1 makes installation a breeze, so messy cables will never distract from your masterpiece.

The Frame Pro and The Frame both feature an Anti-Reflection with Matte Display to combat glare and mimic real canvas, while ArtfulColor validation from Pantone ensures art appears natural and realistic. Plus, just like a picture frame, you can hang these TVs near flush with the wall, while mixing and matching bezels to complement your aesthetic.

For subscribers seeking timely artworks, the Samsung Art Store offers curated collections for various seasons, such as the new autumnal from MoMA, “Fall Under the Spell,” as well as holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day.
