Google: Nexus v iPad ‘will be brutal’

Google looks set to launch its first own branded tablet with the company’s president Eric Schmidt trailing the arrival of a Google Nexus tablet with the promise that the tablet wars with Apple are about to get ‘brutal’.
Speaking with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Schmidt said the possible arrival of a Google tablet with Android OS was set to land within the next six months would result in “brutal competition between Apple and Google Android.”
