Channel 4 acquires Nine Perfect Strangers

Channel 4 has acquired the eight-episode Hulu Original limited series Nine Perfect Strangers, which will launch on the channel on September 28th and be available for catch up viewing on All 4.
Based on Liane Moriarty’s New York Times bestselling book, Nine Perfect Strangers is set at a boutique resort which promises healing and transformation to nine stressed city dwellers. Watching over them during the ten-day retreat is resort director Masha (Nicole Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine perfect strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.
Directed by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, The Undoing), the series was created by Kelley together with Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories, Nicole Kidman’s Blossom Films, and Endeavor Content. The star-studded cast of strangers are played by Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie and Grace Van Patten.
