August 10, 2011
Harvard International has announced the launch of a new range of free-to-air HD set top boxes with HbbTV based companion device (smart phone or tablet computer) functionality. The range will provide consumers with a simple way to upgrade and future-proof their TV experience, enabling consumers to be more digitally connected than ever before. It will be the first HbbTV device available in the UK.
As part of Harvard International’s ongoing product development strategy, the range targets the growing demand from consumers for an easy way of adding connected services such as YouTube and Twitter, alongside catch-up TV and HD DVR functionality to their existing TVs. The new products will be sold under a new brand, View21.
