Orange portal on Samsung Smart TVs
July 11, 2011
Orange has confirmed an agreement with Samsung to offer Orange content and services on Samsung Smart TVs. The service will launch first in France in the coming weeks, on Samsung’s Smart TV range for 2011, and then on Samsung Blu-ray players and Home cinema systems before the end of the year. It will roll out across other European countries where Orange is present from the second half of 2011.
Customers will be able to use services such as Orange sport info, 2424actu, Liveradio, an enhanced programme guide, trailers for weekly cinema releases and free content from Orange cinema series channels through the portal. More services and content will be added in the coming months.
The portal is accessible to all, regardless of Internet service provider, but Orange Internet customers will have access to exclusive, additional services.
