ENENSYS Technologies has confirmed its membership to HbbTV, the international structure (based in Geneva) that has created and upgraded the standard for hybrid TV services (Broadcast and Broadband) available on connected TVs (Smart TV) or set-top boxes ).

ENENSYS offers network operators products and solutions serving the value chain of TV content distribution, regardless of the technology used: DVB, ATSC, ISDB, DAB, DTMB, 4G/5G. ENENSYS has already developed and deployed on a major European national network a regionalised advertising solution for the DVB-T2 network, and wants to strengthen its involvement as a provider of targeted content solutions.

Régis Le Roux, CEO and founder of ENENSYS, commented: “Our mission is to support the actors of the broadcast world to help them optimise and monetise the distribution of their content. Interactive services are a complementary way to enable this monetisation, in particular through targeted advertising. HbbTV is an international standardisation organisation with over 70 members, including most of the world’s leading TV manufacturers (Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, TP Vision, Vestel, Hisense) ..), the largest European audiovisual groups (Sky, BBC, Mediaset, RAI, RTL, Prosieben ..), the TV distribution platforms (Freeview, Tivu, Freesat, ..) as well as a large number of hardware technical solution providers (AMLogic, Mediatek,. .) or software (Google, Vewd, Viaccess-Orca).
